YOUR TURNING POINT (I Thessalonians 1:4-10) Key vs 9
We can look at our Bible’s and see the response of men to the will and Word of God.

Your life is made up of your responses. Every thing that happens to you, you have a responses (you react to it), Some people have this mentality: Tell me what I have always heard so I will know what I have always known, so I will believe what I have always believed, so I will be what I have always been. I would like to show you some real people and their turning point in life:
I. Nicodemus had to turn his back on all those years of learning and the influence of his people... but he did and became a follower of Jesus Christ. (John 3:1-12)
Note: II Tim 2:15 There has been a lot of people turn from friends and family to Jesus Christ.
II. The woman at the well in John 4 had a turning point in her reasoning. · Some people just don't understand. They are sincere, yet sincerely wrong. · In verse 19, she perceived He was a prophet, but in verse 29 she is convinced that He is the Christ... · In verse 39-41 she convinces many in the city that He is indeed the Christ. Finding Christ as Her Saviour was her turning point!
III. The turning point for the woman ruined by sin in John 8:1-11 was in finding hope after living such a low life. · Notice Christ said in vs 11, "Neither do I condemn thee..."
IV. The turning point for the repentant publican in Luke 18:9-14 was when he confessed himself a sinner and asked for forgiveness. · "This man went down to his house justified." (Vs 14)
V. The turning point for the demoniac man ruined by Satan in Mark 5:1-20 was when Jesus passed by. · Please read this account and notice the change.
VI. The turning point for Paul (Saul of Tarsus) had its beginning when he heard Stephen's Holy Spirit filled message in Acts 7.
· I am sure it cut him to his heart (Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.) and lead up to the turning point in his life. · Please read Philippians 3:4-14 for Paul's own testimony of his turning point.
Conclusion:
· Where do you go from here? · What will be the outcome of your life? · Where will your decisions of today lead you tomorrow? · Are you ready for a turning point? · Listen to God speaking to your heart. · Let go of your own way and begin today to experience the turning point in your life. · You will never be the same again!
