I.                   THERE WILL BE PEOPLE vs 2a

A.     THE ACTUAL PRESENCE OF JESUS CHRIST DRAWS ATTENTION !

B.     CURIOUS FOLLOWERS WILL NOT STAY 

C.     TRUE DISCIPLES WILL REMAIN II Cor 6:14-17

II. THERE WILL BE PREACHING vs 2 b

A.     PREACHING IS THE MAIN PART OF THE SERVICE!

For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness

but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. 1Cor:1:18-21

     B. PREACHING IS TO BE FROM HIS OWN WORDS.  I Tim 6:3-5

III. THERE WILL BE PROBLEMS vs 4

A.     THERE WILL BE DIFFICULTIES!—The Press Hindered

B.     THERE WILL BE DISTURBANCES—The Crowd was Disturbed by the Roof coming off  (Eph 6)

   C. THERE WILL BE DISCOURAGEMENTS   

IV. THERE WILL BE FAITH vs. 5

A. THE FAITH WILL COME FROM CHRIST!  Phil 3:9  Rom 3:22

B. FAITH WILL COME FROM THE WORD OF GOD  Rom. 10:17 James 1:21 

V. THERE WILL BE PHONIES vs 7

     A. THESE CRITICS WILL QUESTION THE MAN PREACHING!

     B. THESE CRITICS WILL QUESTION THE WORDS PREACHED!

C.      THESE CRITICS WILL QUESTION THE MIRACLES

PERFORMED

VI. THERE WILL BE POWER vs. 8-12

     A. THERE WILL BE THE POWER OF CONVICTION OF SIN V. 10

          John 16:8

B.     THERE WILL BE THE POWER OF CONVERSION OF THE

      SOUL v.10

    C. THERE WILL BE THE POWER OF CHANGE IN THE SINNER

VII. THERE WILL BE PRAISE vs. 12B.

A.     PRAISE FOR AN UNUSUAL DELIVERANCE You never 'saw it on this fashion'. You thought it was 'just a book'!

     B. PRAISE FOR AN UNDENIABLE DELIVERANCE  1Cor:10:31

VIII.  THERE WILL BE A RESPONSE vs. 13

My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

IX.  THERE WILL BE LEARNING vs. 13

God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit,

seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world,

received up into glory 1Tm:3:16

·         Pastor! - Is Jesus Christ in your 'house' of worship? Is Jesus Christ knocking on your church's doors?

·         Husbands! - Is Jesus Christ in your 'House' & family?

But I would have you know, that the head of the every man is Christ;

And the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.

I Cor 11:13

·         Is Jesus Christ in your 'HOUSE'?

What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's. I Cor 6:19,20
