SOME MARCHING THAT CAUSES WALLS TO FALL

Joshua 6:3-5;20

INTRO: A wall can be a hindrance. Lazy people won’t march.

I.                   THE STUDENT MARCH CAUSES THE WALL OF IGNORANCE TO FALL DOWN

2 Tim 2:15 Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Jn 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

II.                THE FAITHFUL MARCH CAUSES THE WALL OF MISSING  CHURCH TO FALL:

Psa 84:10 For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness

Acts 11:26 And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.

III. THE WORK MARCH WILL CAUSE THE WALL OF LAZINESS 

       TO FALL:

John 9:4 I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.

Rom 12:11 Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the

Lord;

Heb 6:12 That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through

faith and patience inherit the promises.

II Thess. 3:10 For even when we were with you, this we

commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.

III.             THE LOVE MARCH CAUSES THE WALL OF HATRED TO FALL:

Rom 5:5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God

is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto

us.

I John 3:17 But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his

brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from

him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?

V. THE GIVING MARCH CAUSES THE WALL OF POVERTY TO

     FALL:

Luke 6:38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

Phil 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his

riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

VI. THE COOPERATION MARCH CAUSES THE WALL OF

       REBELLION TO FALL:

Psa 133:1 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to

dwell together in unity!

Eph 4:3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of

peace.

Phil 1:27 Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel

of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I

may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one

mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;
