NOW THAT I HAVE BLOWN IT, WHAT NEXT--EX. 2:11-14; 3:10-12

In John 8:1-10 We find a woman that the Pharisees caught in Adultery. She was caught in the VERY ACT of Adultery. She had Blown it, What was next in her life?

1-The Law Said She was to Be Stoned.

2-Morally she had really MESSED up.

3-Jesus said, “I FORGIVE.”

Over and over in the Life of Peter, we find that He blew it. He began to walk on water and began to sink when he looked at the circumstances. Peter vowed not to deny the Lord, yet when it come down to it, He denied the Lord three times, and was found warming himself by the Devil’s fire….He had Blown it…..What was next in his life?

Moses killed an Egyptian, and tried to cover it up. He was caught, and the Sin was FOUND OUT.

He had BLOWN IT…What was next in his life?

HOW IS GOD DEALING WITH US WHEN WE ARE LICKING

OUR WOUNDS OR HIDING IN THE SHADOW OF SELF PITY?

I. GOD PUTS A WELL IN OUR-LIFE - VS.15

            A-The Bible Is Our Well Of  REASONING

B-The Church Is Our Well Of  RESTORATION

            C-The Spirit Of God Is Our Well Of RELIEF

II. GOD PUTS A WIFE IN HIS LIFE - VS.21  HELP-MATE

Proverbs 18:22 Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and  obtaineth favour of the Lord. 

In a symbolic way, God has provided us with a help-mate:  the Holy Spirit

A-Like a Wife, The Holy Spirit Comforts Us

B-Like a Wife, The Holy Spirit Caresses Us

C-Like a Wife, The Holy Spirit Cheers Us

III. GOD PUT WISDOM IN OUR LIFE - VS.22 

Note:  Moses Names His Son Gershom which means a STRANGER or TEMPORARY.  Moses was wise to realize that he was not of this world though he was in it.

1 Peter 2:11 Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;

A-Our TRIALS are not PERMANENT

B-Our TROUBLES are not PREVAILING

C-Our TEMPESTUOUS Storms have a PURPOSE

IV.    GOD PUT WORK IN HIS LIFE - 3:1 

        THE WORK GOD GIVES REQUIRES:

V.     GOD PUT  WORTH BACK IN HIS LIFE - 3:10

         A. God Enlisted Him

         B. God Listened To Him

CONCLUSION:

You may feel that you have Blown it, and there is just nothing that God can use you to do. Think about this……

Noah was a drunkard   Abraham was too old   Isaac was a daydreamer

Jacob was a liar                       Leah was ugly              Joseph was abused

Moses was a murderer Gideon was afraid       Samson had long hair

Rahab was a prostitute Timothy was too young           David had an illicit affair

Elijah was suicidal       Isaiah preached naked Job was bankrupt

Zacchaeus was too short                      Paul was too religious   And Lazarus was dead
