HINDRANCES TO THE CHURCH--JUDE 12-19

INTRODUCTION: There are many things that will hinder a church,  the Scripture says in Galatians 5:7,"Ye did run well; who did hinder you that you should not obey the truth." Who hinders the church? Well, there are several things that hinder a church....

I. THE DEVIL HINDERS THE CHURCH (I Peter 5:8)

 A-He hinders by attendance(Job 1:6)Satan Came Along Also

 B-He hinders by speech(Genesis 3:4)Ye Shall Not Surely Die

  C-He hinders through action(Matt. 4:1)Jesus Tempted Of Devil

II.THE UNFAITHFUL HINDER THE CHURCH (Proverbs 25:19)

 A-They hinder through influence.

  B-They hinder through ignorance.(Acts 17:30)God Winked At

  C-They hinder through hypocrisy.(Matt.23:28)Outwardly Appear Righteous

III.THE DISOBEDIENT HINDER THE CHURCH (Neh 9:25)

    A-They hinder through quenching(I Thess. 5:19)Quench Not The Spirit

  B-They hinder through not doing(John 2:5)Whatsoever He Saith, Do It

  C-They hinder through resisting(Romans 13:1-2)Resist Unto Damnation
