help and encourage you ...

(b)  Jesus met plenty of opposition during his life on

earth

1. Mostly among His own people  Matt. 13:57

2. He was accused of doing the works of Beelzebub (Devil)

3. This opposition must be met with faith in Christ. I

challenge you to "Go forward in the name of the Lord"

I.                 I CHALLENGE YOU TO BE A CHRISTIAN.

Not merely a professor, but Christ-like

1.    In your thinking 

2.    In your speaking

3.     In your actions

II.             I CHALLENGE YOU TO DO CHRISTIAN THINGS. Things that build character

1.    Read your Bible consistently

2.    Pray! Often and earnestly

3. Be faithful in attendance at church

III.         I CHALLENGE YOU TO ENTER CHRISTIAN SERVICE.

Not just one of the crowd:

1. Accept a place to work

2. Make a sacrifice in order to serve

3. Continue when failure seems you lot

IV. I CHALLENGE YOU TO MAKE THE START NOW.

1. Launch out into the deep.

2. Delay is perilous, displeasing to God & harmful to you

V. I CHALLENGE YOU TO HAVE A NEW LEASE ON LIFE.

1.    If unsaved, become a Christian, live for & with Christ

2. If saved, by rededicating your life for service
