BAPTISTS AND EDUCATION

Our Baptist people have always stood for education, if they really cherish the Baptist Spirit.

I.                    Preachers and Education

A-No true preacher of the gospel has failed to get as much of an education as possible.

            1-Public or Baptist Based Colleges if affordable

            2-“Knee-Bone” College if Baptist College can’t be afforded

            B-Any preacher who hopes to be effective, must surely find some form of education and should have that desire in his heart.

II.                 Our Platform: Utmost Intelligence in the Faith

A-For ourselves

B-For our ministers

Conclusion:  To make men disciples, which is part of the Great Commission, and teach them all things that we have been commanded, we must educate, and this Commission is just as Important as the command to evangelize.

EDUCATE  EACH CONVERT IN THE FAITH AND THE WORD OF GOD.

EVANGELIZE THE COMMUNITY IN WHICH GOD HAS PLACED OUR CHURCH
